This week, I would like to preview my organization for the social media analysis project. Taken from their Facebook "about" header, the Bethlehem Holy Child Program "[offers] a therapeutic alternative education for children in Bethlehem with untreated mental health issues and exposure to intergenerational trauma." They have been in the Holy Land for over 25 years, longer than most other relief organizations in the area. The student body is relatively equally split between Christian/Catholic and Muslim. They rely completely on donations to allow the families in the area to be able to afford the intensely personalized care for their children. BHCP is in the process of raising a down payment for the building they have been using in order to buy it for a more permanent presence. They are over halfway there, but they still have $180,000 to go.
